Midfielder. After showing great promise as a young player at Aberdeen, Scott Wright joined Rangers in the winter transfer window during the 2020/21 season. He had initially penned a pre-contract but was allowed to move on sooner in exchange for cash plus Ross McCrorie, who had already been set to go the other way permanently.
Scott Wright started his acting career in Coronation Street, appearing as series regular Sam Kingston from 2000 to 2002, and was nominated for a national tv award for a most popular newcomer. Add to this his roles in Emmerdale, Casualty and Shameless.. Scott also sings, plays guitar and piano, and has shared the stage with a variety of international stars, including the legendary David Cassidy.
