Nothing electric (but Larry's guitar) and for the "most" part not restful music in fact it opens up with a pan classical/Indian tinged hyper active improvisation.

His playing -- on nylon-string classical and 12-string acoustic -- weaves classical motifs and international folk styles through jazz harmony and rhythm. His 1973 outing Diary showcased his overdubbing technique for guitars and piano.

  6. But it is "Restful Mind" that I find myself playing constantly, over and over again. This album is more of an acoustic setting and features the great group Oregon - Collin Walcott, Ralph Towner, and Glen Moore (no Paul McCandless though)as Larry's backing musicians. They are a jazz band but with more of a world music flavor to them.
