For many years Newtown School has been delighted to have Camp Waterford use our premises during the Summer. We have a number of language schools, choirs and other groups using the school during the year. Local clubs and societies use our pool and local sports clubs make use of other sports facilities.
This year we hope to run another successful Old Scholars weekend on Saturday the 23 rd and Sunday the 24 th of September 2023 in Waterford. On Saturday in the school we will have the photo display with pictures from the archives and the annual school versus the Old scholars hockey match. Saturday night Dinner is planned to be in Dooley’s hotel.

Newtown School is an Erasmus+ Accredited School. This programme runs until 2027. Over the last five years, we have developed links with several schools in Spain and France and many of our students enjoy participating in both group, short term and long term mobilities abroad.
