  7. There is, of course, some good stuff in it. The film is mostly predictable and derivative. It relies almost entirely on sentimentality and the storytelling Darabont is known for. But it's pretty enjoyable. A bit overlong, but always entertaining with a decent, familiar story of a small town revitalized by the presence of a stranger.
