  5. Don’t let that film sway you what so ever. I’m as diehard as it gets and that film was trash. I don’t even consider it Death Note. I tried watching the Netflix adaptation 4 times, wanting to like it. It’s just so off putting. Willem Defoe voicing Ryuk couldn’t even save it. Casting Margaret Qualley as Misa was an abomination.
