20 de jul. de 2020 · When immersed into liquid, the PDMS film is deflected by the flowing liquid, resulting in a bending-dependent transmittance change of the embedded microfiber which is directly related to the flow rate of the liquid. The flow rate sensor exhibits a low detection limit (< 0.05 L/min), a high resolution (0.005 L/min), and a fast response time (12 ms).
17 de mar. de 2016 · ZnO/AgNWs-embedded CPI showed relatively low roughness (RMS, 9.6 nm) compared with non-embedded AgNWs on CPI (RMS, 82 nm). Embedding of AgNWs on top of the CPI film offers a good potential for application in flexible TCEs with thermal stability.

13 de jun. de 2020 · The SMC is enabled by a soft, flexible and attachable film embedded with optical micro/nanofibres (MNFs), which is highly compatible with microfluidic chips fabricated by lithography. Based on the transition from guided modes to radiation modes of the MNFs, simultaneous flow rate detection in multiple channels is demonstrated on a SMC with high sensitivity.
