Michael Curtiz, director de cine estadounidense de origen húngaro (24 de diciembre de 1888, Budapest - 10 de abril de 1962, Hollywood).Su verdadero nombre era Manó Kertész Kaminer.Educado en la Universidad de Markoszy y en la Real Academia de Teatro de la capital húngara. Actor teatral desde 1906, se vincula al cine en 1912, como actor y director.
