Trevor Peacock He may be regarded as one of England's most prolific character actors, with a career spanning several decades and dozens of film, television and stage roles, but for Trevor Peacock, acting came only after he had made a name for himself as a prominent pop songwriter.
Often a guest actor, he did have larger roles in The Old Curiosity Shop (1979-1980), Wish Me Luck (1990) and Family Business (2004). He also wrote numerous songs, including ‘Mrs Brown, You’ve Got a Lovely Daughter’, which went to number one in the US in 1965, sung by Peter Noone and Herman’s Hermits.
