  3. Alexander Bogomazov was born in Yampil, Kharkov Governorate, as a second child to Konstantin Bogomazov. His mother Anisia abandoned the family shortly after his baptism. His ethnic background was Russian, yet Alexander spent virtually all his life in Kiev. From 1896 to 1902, Aleksander Bogomazov attended the Institute for Agriculture in Kherson.
