In every new year group there are always new students who come from their primary school without knowing anybody, they might be the only person from their year 6 class who comes to Burnside. Moving to secondary school can be a very anxious time for all new students, we appreciate that those who may not know anybody can be feeling particularly anxious and a little scared.
At Burnside, we are passionate about high quality teaching and learning. Our relentless drive to improve the quality of our lessons has led to improved progress and attainment for our students. Our GCSE results are rising year on year. Attainment is now above the national average and students make excellent progress.
