Sinatra and Strings is the twenty-fourth studio album by American singer Frank Sinatra consisting of standard ballads. It was arranged by Don Costa. [3] The album was the first that Sinatra recorded with Costa. [4] They subsequently worked together on Cycles (1968), Some Nice Things I've Missed (1974) and Trilogy (1980).

26 de mar. de 2024 · SINATRA & STRINGS. By Mahnuel Muñoz. On November 22, 1961, Frank completed the recording of the LP “Sinatra & Strings”, the first and, for me, the best of the many albums with Don Costa, then a young and talented arranger and producer.
Sinatra and Strings often becomes forgotten among the other eleven (yes, that's correct) albums Sinatra put out from 1960-1962. Like most of it's fellow albums from this period, it's excellent, one rivalling the consistent string of success from Sinatra's Capitol era. (Review includes the bonus tracks from the '91 release).
