  1. Mitchel Forman has had a continually surprising career. After graduating from the Manhattan School of Music (1978), he recorded three solo acoustic piano albums for the Japanese New Wave and Soul Note labels and worked with Stan Getz, Gerry Mulligan, Carla Bley, and Mel Tormé.

  4. Mitchel Forman (piano) Born in Brooklyn many moons ago, Mitch began studying classical piano at age 7. At 17 he entered the Manhattan School of Music for three years of study and began working with bands in New York. Shortly after graduating from MSM Mitch began touring and recording with Gerry Mulligan, playing in both his big band and quartet.
