Social work has been an integral part of Bryn Mawr’s academic program for more than 100 years, and I would argue that those ties are closer than ever. They are formed from shared values and goals and are captured in the College’s mission statement, which was revised in 2019.

She worked in the public mental health system for a number of years in residential treatment, family-based mental health, and as an outpatient clinician with children and families.
