Never seen it till tonight, so without nostalgia, I'd say it stands the test of time. Very creative interpretation of vampires in the modern world, with good cinematography and imagery (love the flying shots) and all sorts of metaphors and connotations abounding (sex, drugs & rock and roll, rebellion and inter-generational conflict, anxiety around divorce).
