David Van Cortlandt Crosby ( Los Angeles, 14 augustus 1941 – Santa Ynez, 18 januari 2023) was een Amerikaans gitarist en singer-songwriter. Hij maakte van 1965 tot 1968 deel uit van de folkrockgroep The Byrds en vormde daarna met Stephen Stills (van Buffalo Springfield) en Graham Nash (van The Hollies) de supergroep Crosby, Stills & Nash.
