The Wind Ensemble is the premier performing ensemble of the Denton High School Band program. Students who audition and earn a spot in the Wind Ensemble will be held to highest standards of the DHS Band program. It is expected that these students demonstrate command over their instrument and the literature they are asked to play.
In 2014, Denton HS returned to Orlando, winning the same awards and more from their previous time competing. Mark previously served as Region 2 President and in a number of other leadership positions in TMEA, including High School Region Chair in Region 2 and Middle School Region Chair in Regions 5 and 24.
