John Bindon (October 4, 1943 - October 10, 1993) was a British actor and bodyguard, noted for his film roles as a London underworld figure and tough police detective. Bindon was born in London, England. He was the son of a merchant seaman. Bindon went to school at Fulham where he became a noted rugby union junior, but left at the age of 15.
