Pochovaný bol 30. októbra vedľa svojej manželky Sophie a matky Kristíny, za slobodna Neubrandtovej, rodáčky zo starej komárňanskej rodiny, ktorá v Lehárovom životopise pripomínala synovi maďarsko-nemecké korene.
