Disney and Pixar have announced that their latest animated feature Lightyear will be available for streaming on Disney+ starting August 3rd. “‘ Lightyear ’ looks amazing on the big screen, of course, but we are so excited to bring it to Disney+,” said the film’s director Angus MacLane in a statement.

Angus MacLane is an American director, animator, screenwriter, and voice actor best known for his work work at Pixar. He directed short films BURN-E, Small Fry, and the television special Toy Story of Terror! His feature film credits include co-directing Finding Dory (2016) and Lightyear (2022) as its sole director.
