Synopsis. Lev Ivanovich Yashin (22 October 1929 - 20 March 1990), nicknamed as "The Black Spider" or "The Black Panther", was a Soviet-Russian football goalkeeper, considered by many to be the greatest goalkeeper in the history of the game. He was known for his athleticism in goal, imposing stature and reflex saves.
I am a huge fan of Yashin so it would be hard for me not to love. As a kid I already knew who he was, specially since I was a goalie in many of my teams as a teen. This movie follows the "cake recipe" of a biopic so there is no major cinematic feat. I have to say that the football scenes are very well done and the SFX are solid.
