Alan Anthony Silvestri ist ein US-amerikanischer Komponist und Dirigent, der zu den gefragtesten Filmkomponisten in Hollywood zählt. Er machte 1970 seinen Abschluss in Filmmusik an dem renommierten Berklee College of Music in Boston und hat bis dato über 100 Filmmusiken komponiert und dirigiert. Bekannt wurde er vor allem durch seine Zusammenarbeit mit dem Regisseur Robert Zemeckis.
