Edgar Douglas Adrian, 1st Baron Adrian OM PRS 30 November 1889 - 8 August 1977) was an English doctor. He won the 1932 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine with Charles Scott Sherrington for the discoveries about the functions of neurons .
Edgar Douglas Adrian, né le 30 novembre 1889 à Hampstead et mort le 4 août 1977 à Cambridge, est un médecin et électrophysiologiste anglais. En 1932, il partage avec Charles Scott Sherrington le prix Nobel de physiologie ou médecine « pour leurs découvertes sur les fonctions des neurones [ 1 ] » .
Baron Edgar Douglas Adrian (30. listopadu 1889, Londýn, Spojené království – 4. srpna 1977, Cambridge) byl anglický lékař, neurofyziolog. V roce 1932 mu byla společně se sirem Ch. S. Sherringtonem udělena Nobelova cena za fyziologii a medicínu za práce v oblasti funkce neuronu .
