John Constable ( East Bergholt, Suffolk, Inglaterra, 11 de junio de 1776 - 31 de marzo de 1837) fue un pintor inglés especializado en paisajes. El tema preferido de sus obras fue la región de Suffolk, más concretamente el Valle de Dedham, por ello dicha área es conocida como « el país de Constable ».
