That being said, the sound quality is surprisingly good, with separation between instruments, and the feel of a soundboard recording as the mix feels balanced, properly EQ'ed, etc. I'm quite happy I was able to snag this, as a massive Williams/Lifetime/fusion enthusiast. Surely a rarity, & a most welcome addition to me shelves.

There's no reason in principle that it couldn't be one of the album cuts--after all, T.W.'s taste was eclectic, and I can imagine him putting a cut on his album that he didn't play on--but I'm sceptical that this is actually from the album "The Old Bum's Rush" by The Tony Williams Lifetime. (I don't have the album.)
