Curated by HB’s Executive & Artistic Director, HB Studio produces staged readings throughout the year of new and classic plays. Plays are directed and performed by artists working, studying and teaching at the Studio and by HB’s vast alumni network. Readings take place in the HB Playwrights Theatre, and are always free and open to the public.
Since the 1960s, HB Studio has proudly produced hundreds of new plays and retellings of classic works from the twentieth century in the HB Playwrights Theatre. The following represents HB Studio’s catalogue of productions that have been produced through the years. The list is not comprehensive and is updated regularly based on accessible records.
