Born in Kilbirnie, Scotland, on 26 th June 1952, McQueen was signed by St Mirren as an 18-year-old in 1970, before joining the Whites in 1972, where he would go on to make 172 appearances.

  7. 23 de jul. de 2013 · Gordon McQueen’s cause of death. The first signs of his fading health came in 2011, which would blight his final decade, when he was diagnosed with cancer of the Larynx. During McQueen’s treatment of cancer, he lost his voice during the process. A stroke in 2015 followed and Mcqueen was diagnosed with Vascular Dementia in 2021.
