Benjamin Henrichs has also been called up for Germany alongside Blaswich.

After Péter Gulácsi unfortunately tore his ACL against Celtic in the Champions League, Janis took over as the regular goalkeeper and has played 40 competitive games for the club , keeping 14 clean sheets in the process.
