Once in London, Padovani became active in the punk scene and first met Stewart Copeland at the Roxy Club, who invited him to join his newly-forming band, The Police.Later they would be joined by Sting, completing the band.

Henry Padovani. Henry (or Henri) Padovani (born 13 October 1952) is a French musician noted for being the original guitarist of English rock band The Police.
