With help from Gary Louris and Victoria Williams, here's a CD that I don't find a weak track on. On other recordings from Joe Henry, I haven't found that consistency.But this one makes up for all of those. The vocals between Victoria Williams and Henry are sweet and balanced, especially on the title track 5, "Kindness of the World".
1 de may. de 2017 · This suits them, for — as always — they serve the song rather than the ego, and early Brit Invasion has always influenced Louris. This isn't the first time; they backed up artist/producer Joe Henry in the early '90s on a few of his dusk-twang classics, such as Kindness of the World.
Concurrent with his time in the Jayhawks, Louris has been a charter member of the part-time alt-rock supergroup Golden Smog, which at various times has included members of Soul Asylum, Wilco, the Replacements and Big Star. Louris also formed Au Pair with North Carolina artist Django Haskins in 2015 and re-leased an album that same year.
