29 de oct. de 2018 · When the movie finally comes to its end and all is laid bare, WELCOME TO MERCY delivers one of the most painful and emotional finales in recent years. Tommy Bertelsen and Kristen Ruhlin have given a stagnant genre of horror a much-needed breath of fresh air. Fans will get their scenes of blood, violence, and possession/exorcisms.
29 de oct. de 2018 · Welcome to Mercy (aka Beatus) is a thriller with a very heartbreaking story. Then again, isn’t every story with religious elements often full of pain. While I wasn’t completely thrilled (no pun intended) with the first half of the movie, the second half more than made up for it. For me, it was just a bit messy and all over the place at first.

Movie suggests the demon was given to the couple as a form of a "curse" because they left the church, and in their view, left God. That because of that, dealing with the demon was part of their punishment. The movie treats the demon as a literal entity. It wasn't a metaphor or symbolism. They were plagued with it for years.

Welcome To Mercy (2018) This movie isn't the scariest film in the genre of exorcisms although it has it's share of creepy moments but the film puts a little spin on the genre by adding the stigmata element also. What sets this film apart is great acting and a superb original storyline.
