Miss Porter's School (MPS) is a private college preparatory school for girls founded in 1843 in Farmington, Connecticut. The school draws students from many of the fifty U.S. states, as well as from abroad. International students comprised 14% in the 2017–2018 year.

Sarah Porter Scholarships. This legacy scholarship is offered to new applicants to encourage and celebrate a family tradition of attending Miss Porter’s School. It is open to children/stepchildren, grandchildren, siblings, and nieces of Ancients. It is a partial tuition scholarship in the amount of $5,000 and is renewed annually.
