Yolanda Gail Devers (/ ˈ d iː v ər z / DEE-vərz; born November 19, 1966) is an American retired track and field sprinter who competed in the 60 metres, 60 m hurdles, 100 m and 100 m hurdles. Devers is regarded as one of the greatest and most decorated female sprinters of all time.

In 2007, at the age of 40, Devers won the 60m hurdles at the Millrose Games in 7.86 seconds, which was the fastest time in the world that year. A 10-time USA Outdoor 100m hurdles champion, she is a two-time winner of the ESPY for Women’s Track & Field Athlete of the Year.
Gail Devers is a three-time Olympic gold medalist and five-time Olympian. Her 100-meter victory in 1996 made her the second woman to successfully defend the Olympic title. Born in Seattle, Devers won five outdoor championships throughout her career and four gold medals at the IAAF world indoor championships.
