The early Chilli Peppers line-up consisted of singer Kiedis, Flea on bass, Jack Irons on drums and Hillel Slovak on guitar – all classmates at Fairfax High School in California. Their first live performance at the Rhythm Lounge club was in front of a crowd of around 30 people or so.
