Hace 1 día · Small crack in corrector plate 8SE - posted in Cats & Casses: I am considering buying an 8SE OTA, but the corrector plate has a small crack in it near where the secondary mirror mounts in. It looks like the crack won’t get any worse. If I use the old black sharpie trick to ‘color in’ the crack like folks do on refractors, how will that perform optically?
