Hace 1 día · My family went to Texas for the April 2024 total eclipse, after seeing our first in 2017 in Charleston, South Carolina. We'd never been to Texas before, so we tried to make the most of it, staying in two rentals over the course of 10 days. We started near San Antonio, and Austin, and then after the eclipse we relocated to Corpus Christi for some beach time on Padre Island.
Hace 6 horas · Our very last meal was at Wildfire because we had to get the chicken torta one last time. Carlos was our server most of the mornings and he was delightful. We told him we had to catch our taxi in 30 minutes and he made sure we got our food and drinks with plenty of time to spare, while also getting us a goodbye dessert saying "hasta pronto".
