Hace 9 horas · Another TxDOT signature program is the Don’t Mess with Texas Trash-Off. This program also started in 1985 and featured a one day, roadside cleanup extravaganza. It was created as the state of Texas’ signature event for the Great American Cleanup.
1 de mar. de 2024 · San Angelo’s Don’t mess With Texas® Trash-off was an incredible success with a 250% increase over last year. 175 volunteers collected 210 bags of trash–that’s 2,700 pounds collected from San Angelo’s roadways and waterways.
In the last 30 years, Keep Texas Recycling community partners have recycled over 330 million pounds of material. This has generated over $12.3 million in revenue for these communities and saved 550,000 cubic yards of landfill space and over $5.8 million in landfill fees!
