That's actually so real, I'm sure I'd be able to be a good friend with someone if I actually put in the effort but it's a lot of effort.And basically everyone that I'm friends with (so like 3 people) have their own established groups that I'm not in.
At my work there used to be a huge age gap between the employees but even now after hiring some people around my age I still find it hard to connect to them. Even when someone approaches me I find it really hard to hang out with them. it's like my mind is biased and can't accept new friendship offers, even though they are very nice people.
