On October 23, 2010, Grohl performed with Tenacious D at BlizzCon . He appeared as the drummer for the entire concert, and a year later he returned with Foo Fighters and played another set there, this time as guitarist and vocalist.

In 2009, he joined Josh Homme and John Paul Jones to form the supergroup, Them Crooked Vultures. Their eponymous studio album was released the same year. In 2018, Grohl released his solo instrumental composition titled Play.
Hace 1 día · On 3 September 2022, the Foo Fighters played in a sold out Wembley to pay tribute to their late drummer Taylor Hawkins, with guest appearances from Liam Gallagher, Queen, Brian Johnson, Lars Ulrich, Them Crooked Vultures, Paul McCartney and many others. Blur headlined two shows at Wembley Stadium on 8 and 9 July 2023 as part of their reunion tour.
