I played the demo of daybreak. I wasn't impressed with the writing at all. I feel very disconnect with the city around me, I also don't feel the same connect Van has with his community. It feels very hallow, no depth, it just feels like everyone is a stranger to Van. A lot of the side character dialogue doesn't seem to reflect that as well.
