Quiet Nights is a studio album by the American jazz trumpeter Miles Davis, and his fourth album collaboration with arranger and conductor Gil Evans, released in 1963 on Columbia Records, catalogue CL 2106 and CS 8906 in stereo.
1959-1960. Best known as a member of John Coltrane's Classic Quartet in the 1960s and later as a leader of his own bands, he was a trained classical percussionist with marching band experience who performed on Miles' Sketches of Spain.
