Matt Bianco is a UK group formed in 1982 by Mark Reilly (vocals),Danny White (keyboards) and the late Kito Poncioni (bass) , all originally members of the band Blue Rondo A La Turk. For their first album "Whose Side Are You On ?" they hired unknown polish vocalist Basia Trzetrzelewska.
Original bassist Kito Poncioni, who only played on one Matt Bianco track before leaving the band in 1984, had died in the late 1990s. In 2004, Matt Bianco released the album Matt's Mood , the name from one of their most popular early instrumental tracks.

Por entinces falleció el bajista Kito Poncioni. Volverían a reunirse en los dos mil Basia, Danny White con Mark Reilly para recuperar la formación original. En 2004 sacan “Matt's Mood” . Después la pareja Basia y Danny White dejan de nuevo la banda, y Reilly se une a Fisher para revivir al dúo.
Inicialment a l'any 1982, el quartet format per Mark Reilly (veu), Danny White (teclat), Kito Poncioni (baix) i la vocalista polonesa Basia Trzetrzelewska – que posteriorment faria carrera en solitari com a Basia – es van presentar amb el nom de "Bronze", abans d'escollir el nom definitiu de Matt Bianco el 1983.
