Power of the Night is the second studio album by the American heavy metal band Savatage, released in 1985. This record was produced by Max Norman , who later went on to produce Megadeth 's 1992 hit album Countdown to Extinction .

Power of the Night es el tercer álbum de estudio de la banda estadounidense de heavy metal Savatage, lanzado en 1985 bajo la producción de Max Norman. Este disco fue el último que grabó Keith Collins, quien fue sustituido por el más conocido bajista de la banda: Johnny Lee Middleton .

11 de jul. de 2013 · Un grupo que pule de esa forma todo tipo de detalles, aún en sus discos más discretos, jamás podrá ser uno de segunda fila. Y en este caso no va a ser menos. SAVATAGE eran únicos, genuinos, auténticos y además sobradamente buenos en su campo. Que no obtuvieron el debido éxito que mereciesen es otra cosa.

'Power of the Night' is clearly inferior to the two great Savatage albums, though it only misses the jump from good to great by a few inches - times when someone should have jumped for glory and held back instead, or when they did jump and didn't manage to cling on for more than a few seconds.
