Matthew Thomas Odmark (born January 25, 1974) is an American musician most known for being a guitarist for Christian alternative folk rock group Jars of Clay.
I am Matthew Odmark, I have been writing, recording and producing music for over 20 years. I have spent 10 years Mastering audio for CD, vinyl and digital distribution. I also develop artists and their material and have spent the last 3 years developing a commune of creativity in the heart of Nashville, TN.

Jars of Clay is an alternative rock band from Nashville, Tennessee. The members met at Greenville College in Greenville, Illinois. [ 1] They consist of Dan Haseltine on vocals, Charlie Lowell on piano and keyboards, Stephen Mason on lead guitars and Matthew Odmark on rhythm guitars.

Lowell and Odmark were childhood friends who attended Rochester Catholic schools together and graduated from McQuaid Jesuit High School. In 2001 Odmark won the Gibson Guitar Award for Best Acoustic Guitarist, considered the “Oscars” of the guitar world.
