13 de dic. de 2023 · Honorary Degrees 2023-2024. On Friday 1 December 2023 honorary degrees of the University of Dublin were conferred on Michael Coey, Susan McKay, Fergus Sheil and Mary Irvine at a Commencements Ceremony in the Public Theatre. See Orations here.
As well as the more conventional research dissertation, we offer the Doctor in Philosophy, Literary Practice, which comprises of an original piece of creative writing and a critical essay. We also have a Distance Ph.D. programme, to enable students to pursue a research degree remotely.
2 de sept. de 2020 · Traditionally, the election of new Fellows and Scholars is announced by the Provost on Trinity Monday (29 April 2019) at 10.00 a.m. from the steps of the Public Theatre. Two Honorary Fellows, Five Professorial Fellows, Fifteen New Fellows and Fifty Eight New Scholars were elected this morning.
9 de dic. de 2016 · Trinity awarded four new honorary degrees at a ceremony taking place in the Examinations Hall today. Eric Kinsella, Peta Taaffe, David Puttnam and Louise Richardson received the degrees from the Provost, Dr. Patrick Prendergast, alongside 90 other graduates receiving doctorates.
