In 2001, Scott Breadman, Bill Heller, Dave Karasony, and Eric Marienthal joined the group and the following tour was documented on the live album Live Across America. 21 de oct. de 2006 · Although the group has been more stable in recent years (a fixed lineup recorded the last two studio albums, not counting horns or vocalists), bassist Kim Stone and percussionist Scott Breadman do not appear on the new 20th Anniversary. With this recording, Freeman took a unique approach.
Percussionist Scott Breadman’s affiliation with the Rippingtons dates back to the band’s inception, when he filled in as a substitute on occasion. In that sense and with the exception of Freeman, Breadman is the only original member who has continued as a mainstay of the collective into the 2000s.
