Pawnshop Guitars, es el primer álbum en solitario del guitarrista Gilby Clarke, antiguo miembro de Kill for Thrills y de Guns N' Roses. En 1994, lanzó su disco debut como solista, Pawnshop Guitars, que contó con destacadas contribuciones de varios de sus amigos, incluidos todos los entonces integrantes de Guns N' Roses. Ese mismo año fue despedido de esa banda.

10 de mar. de 2014 · Pawnshop Guitars is, of all the solo material recorded by all the ex-GN’R members, the very best of the bunch. Every single member of the GN’R lineup circa 1994 makes an appearance here: Slash, Duff, Matt, Dizzy, and even the reclusive Axl himself, on a cover of “Dead Flowers”.
Title track "Pawn Shop Guitars" is another raucous rocker full of energy and strong guitar work, before a second tribute to The Rolling Stones with a cover of "Dead Flowers," featuring Axl Rose on guest vocals, and in all honesty, Gilby does away with the hokey country approach taken by The Stones and improves the song a good deal.
