Gavin Hope Biography. Gavin has a diverse experience though song, stage, film, and TV throughout his career. He started his musical journey through many ensembles and choirs in school and University, and eventually ended up being the youngest member in Calgary Opera Chorus history.
Gavin Hope is a three-time Juno Award Nominee, both as a solo vocalist and also as a longtime Baritone member of the iconic Canadian a cappella group, The Nylons, with whom he wrapped up a sold out Farewell Tour in Canada, U.S. Belgium and Holland in 2017.

In 1994 both Newton-Davis and Barnes left the group to pursue their solo careers, and were replaced by Garth Mosbaugh (tenor) and Gavin Hope (baritone), respectively. In 1997 Hope left the group to pursue a solo career and was replaced by Mark Cassius (baritone).
