Stubbington House School was founded in 1841 as a boys' preparatory school, originally located in the Hampshire village of Stubbington, around 1 mile (1.6 km) from the Solent. Stubbington House School was known by the sobriquet "the cradle of the Navy".

26 de feb. de 2011 · I went to Stubbington House School, joining in the term that it moved to Ascot in Berkshire. It merged with Boxgrove School from Guildford and was run by two headteachers, Renton and 'Arthur' Moore. I was generally happy there, with the exception of Latin with Arthur who made my life in his lessons a living hell.
