The album presents 15 songs centred around material from the band’s top 10 albums Anthem and The Changeling. The album is named after Warrior Rock, the B-Side of Toyah’s 1982 single Brave New World.
Warrior Rock: Toyah On Tour is a live double LP recorded on 17 July and 18 July 1982 at London’s Hammersmith Odeon at the end of Toyah’s 25-date The Changeling tour. The original vinyl release of this album was the only Toyah record to be issued in a gatefold sleeve.

This album was recorded on 17th and 18th July 1982 at the Hammersmith Odeon in London, at the culmination of Toyah's twenty-five date UK tour. This is the first CD release of the entire double LP, six tracks making their CD debut.
