Oysterhead biography. OYSTERHEAD is Trey ANASTASIO of PHISH, Les CLAYPOOL of PRIMUS and Stewart COPELAND of The POLICE. They first came together in 2000 for a jazz festival in New Orleans, but it's success pushed them to continue. To ANASTASIO's studio they went to record an album because of their blatant chemistry.
